Cookie Transparency & Local Storage

Cookie Policy

Effective Date: July 22, 2026 | Document Reference: COOK-2026-V1

1. Overview of Cookies & Tracking Technologies

This Cookie Policy explains how OsciWave uses cookies, local storage objects, and session tokens when you navigate our website and client dashboard. We maintain a minimal tracking footprint, utilizing cookies exclusively for essential session security, authentication, and user preference storage.

2. Essential Platform Cookies

Essential cookies are strictly required to operate the OsciWave administration panel and handle form authentication. Disabling these cookies will prevent access to your account dashboard.

`osciwave_session` Strictly Necessary

Stores encrypted session identifier to keep you authenticated as you navigate between dashboard metrics and API credential management screens. Duration: 2 Hours (Session).

`XSRF-TOKEN` Security / CSRF

Generates cryptographically random tokens verifying that form submissions and API key creations originate from your browser session, preventing Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). Duration: 2 Hours.

3. HTML5 Local Storage Objects

We utilize client-side `localStorage` to save non-sensitive UI state preferences without sending telemetry data back to our servers on every HTTP request:

`osciwave_cookie_consent` UI Preference

Remembers your acceptance of the Cookie Consent banner so it is not shown repeatedly on subsequent visits. Values: `true` / `false`.

4. Third-Party Cookies & Checkout Embeds

When executing a subscription purchase or plan upgrade, checkout overlays served by Creem may issue temporary cookies to process credit card verification and prevent fraud. OsciWave does not place third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Managing & Opting Out

You can manage or clear cookies at any time via your browser settings. To learn more about managing cookies on popular browsers:
